This is a choice of 30 - 50 or a 40 to 60 volt heavy duty voltage reducer to a usable 12 volts for lights ,radio, and any other application that requires 12 volts. The reducer puts out 20 amp 12 volt.This is a very simple to use reducer unlike a lot of others out there, you simply hook up the input wires (clearly marked) to the input source which is fused . The red and yellow (clearly marked) wire to the 12volt accessories. This will work on any thing needing to reduce voltage golf carts, ect. These are brand new and work very well. I use them in our golf car light applications. Please note when you first hook up the input wires to the battery you will see a arch and hear a snap but its nothing to worry about as its just powering up the voltage reducer. Make sure when hooking up to a ezgo or other golf cart that has a toggle switch for maintainace it is in the off position because the arch in the run position could burn out the controller.These reducers should always be used instead of using 2 - 6 volt batteries because the 2 batteries used will never get a full charge with the other 4 batteries. Its best to pull voltage from all 6 batteries rather then just 2. When using all batteries with a voltage reducer you are charging the whole battery pack when charger is pugged in. Battery producers all recomend this. We also have a 40 - 60 volt input to 12 volt output. Call me at 815-236-4919 with any questions you may have before you buy or send a message.
